Jotun

Jotun er en av verdens største malingprodusenter. Konsernet er til stede i alle verdenshjørner, men alt styres fra hovedkontoret i Sandefjord.

Jotun har lange tradisjoner i Sandefjord. Selskapet ble etablert her i 1926 og har hovedkontor her. Aktiviteten strekker seg imidlertid langt utover byens, fylkets og også landets grenser.

Fra det nye hovedkontoret på Gimle (innviet i 2020) styres et konsern med:
* 22,8 milliarder kroner i omsetning (2021-tall).
* Langsiktig eierskap med Gleditschfamiliens (gründerens etterkommere) og Orkla.
* Omkring 11.000 ansatte i alle verdenshjørner.

Jotun har 1.000 ansatte i Sandefjord og er i sterk vekst. Selskapet har ofte ledige stillinger, og vil i årene som kommer behøve kompetanse innen hele verdikjeden – men særlig innen forskning og utvikling.
Mange Jotunansatte får mulighet til å fylle ledige stillinger internasjonalt i korte eller lengre perioder, og bedriftskulturen «The Penguin Spirit» finner man igjen overalt. Veksten de seneste årene har kommet blant annet på grunn av denne sterke bedriftskulturen og våre verdier: Lojalitet, omsorg, respekt og mot.

Virksomheten er delt inn i fire forretningsområder: Marine, Protective, Powder og Decorative. Totalt er Jotun representert i over 100 land.
